I wrote a comment about my concerns with using yarn and ribbons, and I’ve had 56 comments from people whose cats have been injured by eating yarn, string, ribbons, and the small pompoms. I love the idea of the Cat Castle but can you think of something else to use rather than ribbon and yarn? A piece of rug makes a scratching pole. So does some rope around a cardboard tube from a carpet store. Lamp shops have great boxes. This is a horrible post. I had a cat who almost died after eating ribbon that wasn’t part of a play castle but just handed on the Black cat I do what I want shirt floor for a few minutes, and he grabbed it and ran off with it. Many cats are orally obsessive. The emergency surgery cost 300 and it was a nightmare. This is a horrible idea and an irresponsible post. Pet Parent Life Hacks is more like Dangerous Pet Death Hacks. Omg seeing all the stuff glued to those boxes gave me anxiety. Choking hazards for cats and you’ll be in the vet with a foreign body obstruction.

Great ideas but leave out the yarn and Pom Pom stuff. My cat has swallowed something like that, and it was a nightmare seeing a poor little cat having three holes on her belly, just for taking out something stuck in her intestine. The guy that sold me this cat didn’t tell me they are cannibalistic or how destructive they are. First, my little angel straight from heaven swallowed the neighbors Siamese he was mean anyway. Then shredded her castle. On the plus side. Her Dookie comes in sparkly rainbow colors from all the pompoms, glitter and ribbons. After seeing a lot of comments regarding string etc, Lego instead maybe? I think the Black cat I do what I want shirt boxes look great though. More pics in comments. Years ago when my son played with Legos one of our cats would carry them I his mouth. Had to watch that carefully and get them from him. Those pom-poms. Can anyone say obstruction? Choking? The people who made this video don’t realize they’ve actually just killed a bunch of animals.

This video should be changed to let people know this is a terrible idea. The boxes, great, but all the little dangers. so ridiculous. Not to mention ribbons and strings my cat would eat in a heartbeat getting all clogged up because, yeah, all my cats have done that, tape all over the bottom my Dolce would have ripped up and eaten in strips, cardboard dust for kitty lungs, and cardboard attracts roaches and spiders. Like, it’s pretty, but you seriously couldn’t leave a cat or especially a kitten alone with this thing at all or it would be like leaving a toddler alone with a dollhouse made out of tide pods and marbles. In the Black cat I do what I want shirt vet biz, we call this job security. In case people were curious. It’s really cute though. Ten points for cleverness and creativity. P.S. I really don’t like spending holidays staying late cause your beautiful kitty ate ribbon or yarn or whatever. Did it though. Those cat tower you pay a small fortune for, have toys stapled to them, so what makes this any safer than those? My cat has toys, everywhere, floor only.
