Ah nothing like I Am A Smartass Daughter I Have An Asshole Dad T-Shirt . Gratefully, for me, it is this list that has made me a parent that has become aware of these and working on healing each of them is my way of being the best I can be for my children. They won’t be perfect adults, but I can say they won’t need to heal childhood wounds around any of these. Respecting children as they have grown has been my greatest teacher and healer. The resulting health(ier) than my parent/child relationship) has been my gift to my children. The cycle stopped with me.
