I served in the US Marines, was a golden gloves boxing champion, and a hell of a wrestler in high school. Now I freak out if I am too far from home. I take Boxing for Parkinson’s. We don’t spar but do use focus mitts so we can do drills in getting out minds and hands to move. It’s a great mental/physical LGBT Unicorn feeling kinda IDGAF-ish today shirt. We always appreciate our volunteers who come to help us with the technique and understand what we should be doing. In some classes, we just need folks to help out by holding a person support belt. Yep, lots of Vietnam era Vet’s with Parkinson’s in our classes (ages are 35 to 82, about 1/4 of our classes are Vets).As for running on period – it depends on how painful it is. Some women just want to curl in a ball under the bed. But if you are feeling fine, just don’t wear light LGBT Unicorn feeling kinda IDGAF-ish today shirt, (or don’t run in public). Choose your third-best underwear and take the shower after the run. Nothing more to be done, really. I have a yoga instructor that helps me. The downward dog stretch really helps. I do about 10 of these and I am sweating a storm. Dynamic as one flows to the next.
