If a father were to cut his daughter’s hair and dye his daughter’s hair without the mother’s permission, most mothers would be livid! And it’s hypocritical to say a man shouldn’t be because he’s a man and the child is a boy. Girls of any age should be able to choose their hair cut as well. Childhood is the best time to explore your expression, not adulthood.

I don’t even let my daughter choose what she’s going to eat for dinner so more power to Raptors All Logos shirt. As the parent, I feel like I know what’s best and she can explore her individuality when she can understand the consequences of her actions. Their individuals with different likes and interests and what good can come from forcing them to be what I want versus who they actually are? Do you know what that gets you? Spiraling adults who act out because they weren’t allowed to make their own mistakes and there to learn from them.

No disrespect, but my kids don’t run my household they don’t tell me what they’re going to do. Don’t get me wrong they try… but in the end, I’m the parents and I understand consequences to actions more than they do. Not to mention if you can’t pay for it you don’t get to choose. And even if you can pay for it you can give me input but the choice is inevitably mine.
